BPAL Imp Giveaway

Recently I've been wanting to find "my" fragrance. I have never really been interested in perfumes and fragrances, especially because, in my limited amount of searching, I haven't found a scent that I find enjoyable let alone one that smells the way I would want to smell. Then I discovered the world of BPAL. If you don't know yet, Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs is aaaaamazing! The company blends their own divinely unique perfumes. The description taken from their website states:

We specialize in formulating body and household blends with a dark, romantic Gothic tone. Our scents run the aesthetic gamut of magickal, pagan and mythological blends, Renaissance, Medieval and Victorian formulas, and horror / Gothic-themed scents. By utilizing our knowledge of homeopathy and aromatherapy, the conceptual theories of hermetic alchemy, and the aesthetic artistry of perfumery, we have mastered the art of encapsulating allegorical ideas into singular olfactory experiences. We are the first of our kind, and have over fifteen years of practical experience in the field. Our expertise shows.

Now I'm not really into the "magickal, pagan and mythological blends..." but each scent, taken on it's own, whether made for "magickal" reasons or not, is a treat for the senses.

If you do just a little searching around on their site you will find that there is an overwhelming number of available scents. Even if you know that you prefer a crisp floral scent that has a heavy bottom note, you still haven't really narrowed down your list of options. That's where the amazing invention of Imp Ears comes in. BPAL offers samples of just about all their scents (some of the limited editions don't come in Imp sizes). Along with being able to purchase Imp's Ears from the site, after ordering a full size bottle of fragrance from the BPAL lab they are so gracious to throw in a good number of Imp's for your sampling pleasure. Unfortunately, if you don't know which scent you want in the first place, that second option isn't really an option.

The giveaway is now closed... winners are announced below

Enter the Giveaway. I was so fortunate to come across a large collection of Imp's Ears and I would love to share the love with the rest of the world. Two entrants will win 7 Imp's Ears of my choosing from the collection I have. Some of the Imp's have been sampled from but every one of them will have a good amount in them so you can have a very accurate taste of each scent and a good number of uses out of each bottle.

The contest will run from now through January 10th at noon PST. Remember to leave some sort of contact info if your comments don't link to a blog or e-mail address.

Congratulations to miha.ela and irdaawandiraa! You have both won. An e-mail has been sent to you.

  11. I follow you on Google Friend Connect as Ayereiss/Nancy. I've been looking for a scent that fits me as well. My mom thoughtfully gave me some Elizabeth Arden perfume for Christmas but it wasn't what I was looking for, it was too sweet.

The dark undertones you're describing with the BPAL scents sounds perfect though, I would definitely love to try Pride with the moroccan rose and narcissus or Manhattan because I've been looking for a citrus-like scent and it has lemon peel in it.

    Thanks for the great giveaway!
